Pretty Place Chapel (officially known as the Fred W. Symmes Chapel) is a stunning open air mountaintop chapel in the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina. It’s located about 40 miles from Greenville, SC but the drive can take longer than expected due to to the steep winding mountain road you’ll have to drive to get there. The chapel is part of YMCA Camp Greenville and is free to visit (donations accepted) during daylight hours when not reserved for weddings or events. Make sure to check online
